Southern California attorney Long “David” Liu has been an outspoken critic of those who would discriminate against minorities in our community. David has been a frequent commentator on television talk shows and local media on pressing social issues. He is often interviewed by the New York Times, Bloomberg Business Week, Fox News, CNN and Associated Press. He also produces a widely followed podcast on political and social issues important to residents and taxpayers of California.

After years of using the judicial system to protect the rights of individuals, David has decided to expand his activism by running for the California State Assembly in the 49 th District. The district is made up of the cities of Monterey Park, San Gabriel, Alhambra, South Pasadena, Pasadena, Arcadia, and Rosemead.

California needs bold leadership to overcome our homelessness, rampant crime, fiscal recklessness, high taxes, failing education system and highest-in-the-nation gas prices. The current leadership has failed our residents and failed to solve the problems.
